Every remarkable career begins with a vision—and for Professor Dr. Mohammed El Ashri, that vision was clear from the very start: to advance eye care while dedicating himself to both academic excellence and patient-centered practice. His journey began in 2007, when he graduated and took his first step into the world of medicine. Driven by ambition and a passion for ophthalmology, he pursued his Master’s degree in Ophthalmology in 2009 at Mansoura University, completing it successfully in 2012. Even before completing his postgraduate journey, he established his first private clinic in El Mahalla El Kobra in 2012, laying the foundation for a growing network of trusted eye care services. His academic path continued as he earned his MD in Cataract Surgery in 2017, solidifying his expertise. Alongside this, he progressed academically—becoming an Assistant Lecturer in 2016, Lecturer in 2017, and Associate Professor in 2023—reflecting years of dedication, teaching excellence, and clinical impact.
In 2018, he further strengthened his international standing by earning both FICO and MRCS qualifications, aligning his practice with global standards. Meanwhile, his clinical expansion continued across Egypt: he joined El Safwa in Mansoura in 2014, expanded to Kafr El Sheikh in 2017 where he became a General Consultant in 2020, and went on to become a founder of Safwa Hospital in El Mahalla El Kobra in 2020. His expertise was further recognized with his appointment as General Consultant in El Mahalla El Kobra in 2024, alongside expanding his services to Cairo (Madinat Nasr) the same year. Today, Professor Dr. Mohammed El Ashri stands as a leading figure in ophthalmology—combining academic distinction, surgical expertise, and a strong commitment to patient care, with a continuous drive to grow, innovate, and make a lasting impact in the field of eye health.
